Overview

Your account includes a comprehensive logging facility:

All logs are accessed from your web domain's log directory http://www.yourdomain.com/logs. You will need your account name and password to login.

Server-based EMail gives you access to your mail from any web browser.

The GuestBook program lets internet users share their comments with other visitors to your site. A public forum for topics of your guidance.

The mailing list program helps you develop a Contact Database for email.

From this menu you can access the four history analysis reports that appear as buttons. All four reports are generated for the starting and ending dates that are specified, and use the specified sort options
The filter applies only to the files report. Only files matching the filter will be shown, i.e., ´*.mp´ will show mp3 and mpeg files.


Visitor Summary

The visitor summary button generates a report like the following. The first part shows daily totals for each day in the date range:

The second part provides activity detail by host name or IP address.

The Referrals Report button reports the web sites and search engines that led visitors to your site.

File Summary

The Files Report button reports activity by file. You can limit the files shown by entering a filter. Only files matching the filter will be shown, i.e., ´*.mp´ will show mp3 and mpeg files.

Error Summary

The Errors Report button reports all errors encountered by your http server. A common cause of errors is requesting a page that does not exist.


Date Range

All four of the above historical reports can be generated for the specified date range starting and ending dates . Generally, 30 to 60 days of historical data is kept available. When you login, the start and end dates will be set to oldest and newest data available.

Sort Options

The historical reports can be sorted by date or by ranking. Your can also generate only a summary.


Activity Log

Select the Activity Log link to see an overview of activity at your site. This brings up the following screen where you will see a single entry for every visitor to your home page, every entry to your guestbook, every mailing list request and any other activities logged for your site.

Mailing List and Contact Database

If a mailing list has been installed at your site, select the Mailing List link to see the people who have signed up.

We also offer a variety of contact and mail management tools.

Current Error Log

The Current Error Log link will show the most recent raw errors from your http server.

Raw Access Log

The Raw Access Log link will show the most recent raw activity from your http server.

Secure Access Log

The Secure Access Log link will show all login activity for your site.

Diagnostics

The Diagnostics link will list all the environment variables available to your server scripts.


Server-based Email

Your account allows you to have any email address @yourdomain.com. In addition to using client-based email such as Outlook, you can send and receive email from any internet connection using the web-based server mail. You will need your email address and password to login.

Messages are NOT downloaded to your computer, they remain on the server, unless you specifically delete them.


Guestbook Management

You can install a guestbook at your site which allows visitors to leave their comments for everyone to view. By default:

Optionally, we can filter entries by name and content, this can be useful if your guestbook becomes a target.

Mailing List Management

You can install a mailing list at your site which allows visitors to sign up for your mailings. We also offer a Bulk Mail client to help you generate html email for the people on your list.
